It Resolved that Council of the Township of Clearview hereby approve the Agenda dated June 17, 2026, as presented.

It Resolved that the Council of the Township of Clearview hereby receive report FIN-008-2026 Development Charge Relief Program (DCRP) dated June 17, 2026; and, That Council cannot support applying to the Development Charge Relief Program for this intake period, recognizing the associated financial risks and limitations identified within this report, and; That the CAO be directed to write a letter to the Province outlining Clearview’s support in building homes and associated solutions, however the financial constraints and Council’s fiduciary responsibility to the municipality and taxpayer cannot allow the Township to proceed forward with an application for this intake of the DCRP, and the letter be copied to the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing and the Simcoe Grey MPP.
